Redeeming the Time
We are entering into a time of convergence with destiny and healing of old wounds. For the past week, I’ve been feeling an acceleration in the spirit as I’ve moved in obedience to tasks he's called me to complete. Things that I thought would take a long time to finish have been completed quickly and the progress towards the ultimate goal has been increased.
This means that the Lord is redeeming the time in places where it has been stolen from us or even helping us soar through areas of difficulty and previous challenges.
"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."
Ephesians 5:15-21 (KJV)
When I sought the Lord on the feelings of increase and acceleration in the spirit, He showed me a vision of the three lined Flux Capacitor from Back to the Future. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. This device enabled Marty and the Doc to time travel to the past and future. As soon as I saw this, the revelation unfolded from what the Lord was saying. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are being supercharged to make steps that propel us to our appointed times of the Lord.
Along the same vein of the movie, mistakes from the past are being corrected and the manifestation of the divine solutions will converge with our present time. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. Thankfully, Jesus is outside of time. Imagine Him as a master quantum physician that is entering into areas we have felt negatively defined us. He is suturing every wound, remedying all pain and turning everything around that was meant for our harm.
" And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. " Exodus 15: 26 (KJV)
Usually, when the Lord shows me something, I like to ask what I can do to partner with Him. He impressed upon me that taking action in the heart of obedience is key in this season. It is our obedience that opens the doors in the spirit and aligns our pathways to match the intentions of God’s heart for our lives. This state of humility pleases the Lord and opens us up for even more blessings.
I want to encourage you today that whatever He has called you to do, whatever steps He has impressed upon you to take to do them in faith. Even if these steps seem insignificant to us, the Lord sees them as steps in the right direction.
Standing Guard Against Emotional Attacks
When the Lord supercharges us with His power, it becomes evident in the spiritual realm, including to the enemy's camp. Picture yourself glowing brightly with the Holy Spirit's power, similar to lightning dispersing from a storm cloud. If you’ve been feeling unusually tired, unmotivated, or discouraged, ask yourself:
“Is this truly how I feel, or is it a feeling the enemy is impressing upon me?”
Examining the origin of sudden negative emotions helps to safeguard against surprise attacks. Here’s how to position yourself for a spiritual checkmate against these emotional assaults:
Proactive Prayer for Protection: “I thank you, Lord, for your hand upon me to accelerate me in all my endeavors. I declare that every emotional attack attempting to oppress me today is destroyed in the name of Jesus. I will not become discouraged or feel abnormally tired, physically or mentally. I take authority over all attempts to disqualify me from your blessings and promises, in Jesus' name!”
Key Scriptures for Strength
The key is to stay on your guard and gird up the loins of your mind throughout the day. If it feels like a daunting concept to monitor your thoughts all day, let me be the first to tell you that it comes with practice. The true secret is, it is easier than we think.
1 Peter 1:13 (KJV): “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
In Luke 21:19 (KJV) Jesus said: “In your patience possess ye your souls.”
In other words, tell your soul how to act. Take authority over it. Our spirit is stronger than the flesh because it is eternal and reborn by our acceptance of Jesus. Meanwhile, the flesh decays overtime.
Three Practical Steps for Guarding Your Mind:
Command Your Day:
Begin your day by declaring internal commands to your soul:
“You will not agree with any discouragement. You will not feel abnormally tired. You are accelerated by the Lord and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.”
Create a Thought Feedback Loop:
By starting your day with these declarations, you set a mental stance against intrusive thoughts. This practice creates a thought feedback loop where you recognize and reject negative thoughts promptly.
Stay Vigilant:
Monitor your thoughts throughout the day. This practice may seem challenging at first but becomes easier with time and diligence. The Holy Spirit's prompting, combined with your vigilance, leads to a more peaceful mind amid warfare.
Through this proactive stance, you'll experience greater resilience and peace even when facing spiritual attacks. The enemy's attempts to discourage or wear you down will falter as you stand firm in the authority and strength given by Christ.
My prayer for you: Lord, I pray that you would empower everyone reading this to stand strong against emotional attacks. Grant them discernment to recognize the origin of their emotions and the strength to take authority over their thoughts. Let your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Blessings,
Laura Corinne
