Delays are Breaking!

On the horizon, there are precious promises from the Lord that have been released to the body of Christ. Yet, at the moment, we have stepped up to the threshold, fully expecting to see the delight of his goodness; however, the enemy has brought delays.

During this season, in my time of prayer I have experienced a constant battle to break through the barriers raised up by the enemy. In a vision, I saw that these barriers as tall black brick walls that are blocking off deeper realms of prayer. Additionally, there are twisted, sinister web-like nets strewn across the heavenlies. These nets were positioned by the enemy to catch the releases from heaven and hold them hostage.

I asked the Lord about it. He said to me “The delays are breaking; you will see. The enemy is trying to stop what I have earmarked, what I have sent out, not only to you, but to the rest of my children. Enough is Enough! These are pivotal times, times when things are shifting fast. Expect shifts in the right direction.”

I sensed an urgency in what the Lord said. I wanted to ask for more. Then He said with seriousness in His voice “Many are suffering at the hand of these demonic web catching places. Prayers, promises, releases from heaven are being met with delays. I am clearing them away.”

In this time, the Lord wants us to partner with heaven in order to see breakthroughs in areas of struggle. We can do this by understanding that God is fighting for us! We must declare our victory.

“ For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” (Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV)

The Lord revealed that there is a war in the heavenlies. I saw an intense battle between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. Angels and demons were fighting in an unrelenting battle just like the times of old.

This warfare has brought on interference.

Immediately I was reminded of the circumstances of Daniel 10:12-13.

Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. (NKJV)

Just like Daniel, many of us are waiting and watching for the answers to our prayers. The Lord is calling us to stay in a position of faith and hope in the midst of adversity. This can be done by speaking words in the right direction: professing the truth of the word, and confessing the hope of our faith.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV)

Death and life is in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21 NJKV)

When we confess the truth, and speak the written and spoken Word of God, this will advance The Lord’s plans in the Earth. Negative speech or declarations can have the opposite effect and empower demonic agendas against you as well as the demons warring in the heavenlies.

In a time of warfare, one of the sharpest weapons to use against the kingdom of darkness is praise and thanksgiving. The Lord is inviting us to be like King Jehosaphat, and bring heaven down through praise and thanksgiving.

They went out before the army and were saying:

“Praise the Lord,
For His mercy endures forever."

Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. (2 Chronicles 20:21-22 NKJV)

Our praise opens up the heavens, confuses the camp of the wicked, and empowers the angelic forces the Lord has sent on our behalf to clear the way. Thanksgiving allows us to stand in a position of joy and faith by being appreciative of what the Lord has already done for us.

Be encouraged knowing that the enemy is already defeated and has to pay for all that he has stolen! Let’s rejoice and seal in our victory by dancing on the battlefield.

In this hour we can stand with the Father and release a sword through our decrees that cuts down the demonic nets. We can sing praises that shatter any demonic walls stacked against us, and enter deeper realms of prayer.
