Armies in the Sand

In this blog post, I share a vision concerning believers currently fighting for justice and righteousness and share ways that we can partner with God to see our prayers answered.

PROPHETIC VISION

Expectant Warriors

On a recent Sunday morning, I was feeling an emotional heaviness that felt like an unknown weight was pressing down on my shoulders. I wondered about the source of my emotional somberness, but these feelings became clearer as I entered into prophetic worship during church. The Lord revealed a stream of images like scenes from a film rendering, into a digital reader. He was showing me the reason behind the ominous feelings I was experiencing.

In the vision, I saw groups of believers waiting in army gear and then marching forward. They were in the midst of sand hills, wearing garments that protected them from the harsh atmosphere, much like the movie Dune. I knew that these believers were skilled, focused, and sent to the desert places knowing their assignment and purpose. These believers were prepared to execute the commands from our war general, Jesus.

I heard the Lord say, “I am raising up the faithful ones to help administer justice in this earth. Now is a time to pray, to declare, to fight.”

Curious, I asked, “Fight for what?” wanting to understand His sense of urgency.

He answered, “My armies are marching forward. Waiting on standby by for my orders. For my Justice. It's been gross, and it has been dark. But the lights, the lights of my children in their war units will shine brightly. Not only notifying the enemy, but chasing him away. They are like lighthouses. They are like strong towers. My forces will take down the enemy.”

Much like the book of Judges, we have been living in a time where there has been an absence of righteousness in high places and wickedness has sought to prevail over mankind. In the midst of such darkness, the Lord’s glory is leading the dark to His radiance.

“Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.” ( Daniel‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬ NLT‬‬)

Additionally, the Lord is anointing us to be ambassadors of righteousness in the earth and to move in keen discernment to partner with His plans.

“ Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.”

‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

If you’re anything like me, you have been bothered by the state of wickedness that's been showcased virtually everywhere. When you’ve heard about situations in the world that have been revealed, exposed, or popularized, you’ve cried out to God to shift the state of our society. Asking for His righteousness and justice is a sign that you have a burning conviction to help the Lord bring forth His will in the earth your place of influence.

We can partner with this move of the Lord by praying for justice to come to our nation, to our regions and cities. Our decrees are powerful. The word from our mouths has the power to legislate the Lord’s agenda and to produce forward movement in the realm of the spirit. In his eyes, it is already finished. We have the victory in each battle that seeks to befall us.

Maybe you’ve been praying this entire time, wondering if you’re the only one doing so. I’m here to tell you that you are not alone!

My hope for you is that you take everything you’ve been feeling to the place of prayer.

Decrees for Justice and Righteousness

Lord, righteousness and justice is the foundation of your throne. I call forth your righteousness and justice in the barren places of this land. (Psalm 89:14)

I call forth righteousness to reign in the places of power in my city. In the local realms of influence. (Isaiah 45:8)

Lord, tear down every unrighteous leader that is exacting demonic verdicts over your people and raise up men and women of integrity in their place. (Daniel 2:21)

Let all wickedness be exposed, expunged, and purged from this land. (Psalm 75:10)

Let's use our words powerfully together.
